It would have been my grandmother Caroline’s 85th birthday today, and I wanted to share something with you all. When going through her things, we came across sketches she had done before her arthritis got too bad for her to draw. No one objected to me keeping them, and so I’ve had them since. I’ve scanned a couple for your viewing pleasure. :-)

The first one is my favorite. It surprised me when I first saw it, and I’m so glad I have it. :-)

The second is one of the many profiles she drew, which was one of her favorite things to draw.
